If your network experiences a catastrophic WAN outage, you may need to rebuild or register your firewall strictly using local assets.
Kerio Control checks the internal creation date of the offline license file against its local system clock. If your air-gapped firewall has the incorrect date and time, the validation will fail.
Whenever you renew your user seats or add software add-ons (like Kerio Antivirus), you must generate a brand new offline license file. The firewall will not automatically recognize subscription upgrades. This link or copies made by others cannot be deleted
Because you cannot reach the internet from the firewall, you must use a "bridge computer"—a separate workstation that has internet access.
